By the time we left Bangkok, we were ready to be back home in Germany. It had been about three months of hopping on and off planes in different countries and I could already taste schnitzel.

Don’t get us wrong! We loved experiencing these different cultures, food and, of course, wines. We had made some invaluable friendships, laughed our asses off (as well as experienced a variety of other emotions) and soaked in as much as we could.

After a quick stop in Dubai, we landed in Frankfurt. We had officially gone around the world.

At this point in the journey of the Bottle Talks blog, we’ll plan to talk a little about the next few months we spent at the Mosel Valley, but then bring it to present day, and we’ll finally be caught up.
